Travel experiences

Everyone of us has a place to visit and discover because every place, street or landscape is an expression of who we are and of our inner life.
In fact we could talk about a philosophy of travelling as a way to explore known and unknown spaces but especially ourselves.

It isn’t necessary to go too far or distant. You can move from your town to the nearest and make your travel: the one you need.

The contact with different people, cultures, languages, dresses and food could be read as an incredible instrument not only to  learn  more about what surrounds us but, at the same time, to evolve and  improve.

There are many ways to travel around the world but the first one is thanks to imagination.

Through it, we approach in a first, personal and unique way with people, colours, tastes and new places creating situations and moments we hope to realize.

Linee ed orizzonti

Linee ed orizzonti

Ogni linea racchiude in sé l’infinito. Senza origine e senza fine, essa si staglia sul foglio di carta che ci è stato assegnato e vi si adagia, pronta a scorrere con un tratto di penna o a restare ferma.

L’infinito che rappresenta racchiude le nostre potenzialità e tutte le possibilità che, inepresse, attendono solo di prendere vita.

Questa linea quindi quale significato assume per noi? È un orizzonte inesplorato oppure un confine invalicabile?

A tal proposito, pubblico il pensiero della grande Frida Kahlo che invita tutti noi alla riflessione.

Cosa sono per me le linee? Ostacoli, linee o confini?

Non far caso a me. Io vengo da un altro pianeta. Io ancora vedo orizzonti dove tu vedi confini.

Have you ever visited Central Park?

Eccoci di nuovo qui, insieme, per riflettere e discutere amichevolmente e liberamente di un nuovo argomento. D’altro canto penso che questo periodo dell’anno possa darci la giusta ispirazione per i nostri pensieri e le nostre idee. Arrivati alla fine di dicembre d’altronde si tirano sempre le somme e si valutano sconfitte e vittorie.

Il Natale sta arrivando: lunedì prossimo infatti lo festeggeremo. Ma cos’è per ognuno di noi? Lo viviamo con l’atteggiamento giusto? Siamo influenzati dal suo significato profondo e reale? Non esiste una risposta unica, valida ed univoca per tutti. Voi come lo vivete?

Ma torniamo a noi ed osserviamo il titolo di questo nuovo articolo: “Have you ever visited Central Park?(Hai mai visitato Central Park?)”.

Stavo guardando la tv quando la mia attenzione è stata catturata da foto e immagini di questo meraviglioso e gigantesco parco di New York. Migliaia di persone ogni giorno camminano tra i suoi alberi, si rilassano, mangiano sul suo prato o semplicemente si siedono sulle sue panchine. Non ci sono mai stata e me ne rammarico. Paradossalmente mi manca qualcosa che non ho ancora avuto la possibilità di vivere. A voi capita qualche volta?

Adoro viaggiare e visitare posti nuovi. Penso che sia il modo giusto per conoscere ed espandere la mente ottenendo una visione più ampia del mondo. Purtroppo non lo faccio da un po’ di tempo. Forse in futuro: non si sa mai.

La fine di dicembre è il momento in cui facciamo un elenco di ciò che abbiamo realizzato e di ciò che vogliamo. Osserviamo ciò che ci circonda e chiediamo a noi stessi se questo corrisponde alle nostre aspettative o no. Nel mio caso l’elenco è davvero lungo. E nel vostro caso?

Quali sono i vostri desideri ed aspettative? In altre parole: sogni.

Have you ever visited “Central Park”?

So we are here again, together, to reflect and use our mind in order to discuss friendly and freely about a new argument. Well, I think that this period of the year could give us the good inspiration for our thoughts and ideas.

Christmas is coming: next monday we will celebrate it. But what is it for everyone of us? Do we live it with the right attitude? Are we influenced by its deep and real meaning? Only you know the answers to these questions. Some of them could be positive, others no.

But let’s observe the title of this new article: “Have you ever visited Central Park?” Why have I written it? Actually, I was watching tv when my attention was captured by photos and images of this park in New York. Thousands of people everyday walk through its trees, relax or eat on the grass or simply sit on its benches.

I have never been there and, even if it could seem strange, sometimes I miss something I haven’t had the possibility to live yet: visiting New York and its people. I love travelling and visiting new places. I think it’s the right way to know and expand the mind getting a wider vision of the world. Unfortunally I haven’t done it for some time. Maybe in the future: you never know.

The end of december is the moment we make a list of what we have realized and of what we want. We observe what sorrounds us and we ask to ourselves if this corresponds to our expectations or not.
